EVPMr. Fawson was a SVP at Zion’s Bank where he managed the national multi-family division and was responsible for loan acquisition and sales. He oversaw all aspects from sourcing, processing, underwriting to funding of over $600 million in CRE, owner user and multifamily loans. Prior to Zion’s he was SVP for Pacific Premier Bank where he oversaw all lending activities totaling over $1 billion, member of loan committee, ALCO committee and credit committee. Developed policies and procedures for all lending products.
VP Commercial Loan OfficerUnderwriter, worked for Zions Bank as a commercial loan officer from 2006 until September 2012. Was assigned to the Texas/Oklahoma markets for one year focusing primarily on SBA 504 and conventional owner-occupied loans. Over the last five years with the bank, underwrote primarily non owner-occupied commercial real estate properties nationwide. Originated and purchased approximately 160 commercial and multi-family loans totaling approximately $170MM over a three-year period.
VP Commercial LendingMr. Johnson is responsible for the implementation of Avid’s term retail production including the establishment of net branches and correspondent relationships with participating lenders. Prior to his time with Avid, Brian managed all capacities of the construction lending division from origination, underwriting, and servicing for Security National Life Insurance Co. transactions. In select areas we will also fund construction and renovation projects that qualify for our term financing.

Account ManagerDavid Micheal Sahim transitioned to Avid Commercial after many years in Corporate Finance and Information Technology sales. David’s main responsibilities are client acquisition and vetting prospective clients for Avid Commercial’s tailored loan programs. His background in finance and ability to find the right solution for a client’s specific needs and provide correct financial products to our corporate clients helps ensure customer satisfaction. David endeavors to achieve customer satisfaction by listening to customers and responding with the level of professionalism Avid is known for.
Account ManagerErik Rivera has worked for Avid Commercial for 2 years. He works primarily on the front lines building customer relationships and sales. Erik’s main job responsibility is finding the needs of borrowers and the loan structure that fits those needs best. Every borrower we work with has their own specific needs, Erik ensures these needs are met by working directly with our underwriting committee.
Account ManagerStephen Sobel is a transplant from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He comes to Avid Commercial, having worked with small business for 7 years. When he’s not financing their latest real estate acquisition, you can find Stephen hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing on the Wasatch Front. Stephen is the son of an entrepreneur, and an entrepreneur himself. He grew up helping his father run a small, successful costume jewelry company. Later in life, after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Stephen opened up his own marketing company specializing in local advertising for small business. He joined Avid Commercial because they of their shared interest in helping small businesses grow, and helping people achieve the American Dream.
Account ManagerMike has 30 yrs. experience with many facets of real estate and financing. He has managed offices around the country for residential lenders. He holds a real estate license. Mike enjoys investing in real estate and enjoys helping others become educated about its financial benefits.

Alan is a bilingual (Spanish) speaker able to assist clients with information that can help determine the best option for their commercial mortgage loan. Alan has worked with borrowers from different places all over the nation with Avid’s SBA 504 program, originating new loans and refinancing.
